Interrogation de ressources XML concernant un domaine d’intérêt
Dans cet article, nous proposons une nouvelle approche pour l'interrogation et l'intégration de ressources XML disponibles sur le web. Nos contributions sont la définition d'un langage à base de règles pour la description de ressources XML sous forme de vues sur un schéma global, et des algorithmes qui utilisent ces règles pour la traduction de requêtes utilisateurs en requêtes XML. Notre approche a également été validée par le prototype STYX. In this paper we propose a mediator architecture for the querying and integration of web-accessible XML data sources. Our contributions are the definition of a simple but expressive mapping language for describing XML resources as local views on some global schema, and efficient algorithms for rewriting user queries according to existing source descriptions. The approach has been validated by the STYX prototype.
