Report on an interdisciplinary research between sociologists and computer scientists: from the sociology of the organized action to the SocLab
Cet article rend compte d’une collaboration entre des informaticiens et des sociologues dans le cadre de la formalisation d’une théorie sociologique bien éprouvée, la sociologie de l’action organisée. Après une brève introduction à cette théorie, nous présentons la formalisation que nous en proposons et illustrons sa mise en œuvre en sociologie et en informatique. Les sections suivantes traitent des conditions de validité des résultats de ce projet, de ses retombées scientifiques et des conditions d’une collaboration interdisciplinaire entre sociologues et informaticiens.
We report a collaboration between sociologists and computer scientists about the formalization of a well-experienced theory, the sociology of the organized action. After a brief introduction to this theory, the paper presents our formalization of this theory and a sample example of its application. The following sections address the validity of the results obtained in this way, the scientific outcomes and the requirements of an interdisciplinary collaboration between sociologists and computer scientists.
